SoCozy Curl Hair Products

by Katie Wallace | Updated: January 5, 2017

If you have a little girl, you know they come with lots of personality. Girls also can have heads of beautiful, yet tangled hair. I’ve found these SoCozy hair products to be very helpful, especially for girls who have wavy or curly hair. I received this awesome set of hair products for review, and I’m excited to tell you about them.

My husband Andy often helps start our day by brushing our girls’ hair. My oldest daughter’s hair is wavy, dark blond, and holds curl beautifully. Her sister has lighter blond and straighter hair. Both my girls enjoyed trying these products to smooth their tangled locks.

The SoCozy hair care collection includes shampoo & conditioner, leave-in conditioner, and medium hold gel-cream.

The Curl Shampoo is a gentle cleanser that removes dirt and build-up while reinforcing and preserving hair’s natural moisture. It helps to reduce frizz and breakage, while improving curly hair elasticity.

Follow this with Curl Conditioner to soften and moisturize even the driest, unruly curls. The ultra-hydrating formula is also helpful for detangling a child’s hair to prevent breakage, while restoring luster and shine. I found my girls’ hair was noticeably softer and healthier with each use. Both SoCozy shampoo and conditioner have a sweet cream fragrance made with vanilla, orange blossoms, and honey.

Curl Leave-in Conditioner repairs and moisturizes curly hair to protect your child’s locks especially during dry weather. It also helps prevent frizz. Use this conditioner to detangle and restore curls, leaving them shiny and soft.

The Curl Gel-Cream styler is probably my favorite kids hair product in the collection. This creamy formula moisturizes and smooths hair to create soft, touchable curls. The gel hold helps maintain perfectly defined, frizz-free curls even throughout carefree playtime. This kids hair gel is very lightweight and doesn’t make hair sticky, hard, or greasy.

I’ve used these SoCozy curl hair products often to style my daughter’s wavy hair. Even at 4 years old, my daughter loves dressing up and looking fancy, such as with a bow hairstyle. This gel-cream helps curling iron curls hold their shape well. After I curled her hair into ringlets, it held those curls in place all day long. The gel-cream also doesn’t get sticky or hard when used along with a curling iron.

Dress Up with SoCozy

My daughter loves dressing up and asking me to style her hair. A curly hairstyle goes perfectly with this flower dress from L’ENFANT D’OR, which is edged with eyelet lace along the bottom. This cute sun dress is ideal for warmer weather, or layering with leggings and a cozy sweater.

I have hair envy too! My hair is frizzy and kinky – not nice and straight OR nice and curly. I also have hair envy for my 15 old son who is still mostly bald 🙂

Your daughter has gorgeous hair!! I’m like you, stick straight hair. But my youngest daughter was born with the most beautiful curls! She is only 2, but already it’s so long! I definitely need to get these products for her. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

We have lots of fun taking photos and I love them for the photo books! SoCozy products are so great for kids’ hair. The leave-in spray conditioner makes it so easy to brush out my daughter’s curls every morning.

Cerrado los lunes! 😟☀️ We showed up at the zoo onl Cerrado los lunes! 😟☀️ We showed up at the zoo only to discover it was closed on Mondays.

Thankfully, our family has gotten pretty good at pivoting when plans change. Instead of heading home, we set off on a mile-long walk to Centro Histórico Mérida and turned an unexpected detour into an adventure.

We explored local markets, enjoyed tacos and sopa de lima for lunch, and let the kids burn off energy at a park. The Mérida heat definitely called for a treat, so we stopped for fruit bars that cost just 40 pesos (about $2.50) each. We made it home just in time for Juliet’s nap!

Next time, we’ll check the zoo schedule before we go. But honestly, this unexpected change of plans turned into a pretty great day!

✨ Takeaways:

• Travel helps build resilient kids. When plans change, they learn to adapt, stay positive, and enjoy the adventure anyway.

• Some of our best experiences happen when things don’t go as planned. The zoo will still be there another day! 🦓🐊🦛

• We’re growing in Spanish every day. The kids are becoming more confident with pronunciation, casual phrases, and new vocabulary as we navigate life in Mexico.

💬 What do you want to know about our life in Mexico?

Hola from Mérida! 🇲🇽☀️ Our first week has been cha Hola from Mérida! 🇲🇽☀️ Our first week has been challenging and rewarding as we settle into life in Mexico with our 4 kids!

• We’re finding our new normal, discovering favorite stores, trying grocery delivery, getting used to air-drying clothes and doing dishes (no clothes dryer or dishwasher).

 • We’ve almost finished all steps for receiving our family’s permanent residency cards. Praying for successful completion!

 • Also experiencing frequent tropical afternoon downpours, magnificent and soaking! 🌴

 • Being without city water for 20 hours, which impacted washing dishes and taking showers. We used our rooftop water tank sparingly.

 • House hunting & touring several long term rental houses; we hope to find a good fit for our stay-at-home lifestyle and hosting too!

I keep reminding myself that we moved here! We’re not just visiting for a few weeks. 🤯😄

Overall, we’re grateful. ☀️🙂 It’s been a good first week, and we’re excited to continue settling in and discovering what life in Mérida has in store for our family!
